MISSION STATEMENT

Support science education at the graduate, undergraduate, elementary, and secondary school levels through programs that provide superconductivity research and applications for our planet and in space, that encourage students to pursue science and engineering careers, and that enhance elementary and secondary science teacher professional development.

K-12 Educational Programs and Resources

TcSUH faculty, research staff and students support science education at the elementary and secondary school levels through programs that provide immersive activities to explain basic science concepts that underlie our research in superconductivity and advanced materials and applications for our planet and in space. TcSUH hosts activities that encourage students to pursue science and engineering careers. We also enhance elementary and secondary science teacher professional development.

Public Outreach

TcSUH faculty, students and staff all participate in various public outreach activities, an important Center mission. Activities range from hosting important US and international conferences and workshops to lectures and demonstrations at professional societies, museums, and industries. TcSUH routinely hosts U.S. and international delegations and groups. We also host many events.
